You too can visit the Manutti showroom in Belgium

Deerjilk, Belgium is not the first place you would think of as the location of an amazing garden furniture showroom and a name like Manutti customers often think the company is Italian but actually Manutti is a word play on the name Mani who is the son of Stephane de Winter, the owner of Manutti.  Founded on a family history of working with the very finest fabrics and materials Stephane decided to create a garden furniture company to represent his fabrics. 25 years later and he has created a leading name in the furniture industry, respected for its great quality.

Now, to display the whole collection Manutti have built a light and beautifully designed showroom.  Customers with an interest in seeing the whole Manutti collection are welcome to visit the showroom and being only an hour and a half from Calais it is possible to make the journey in a day.

In October I was lucky enough to be able to make the trip to see all the latest Manutti designs.  Getting up in the middle of the night and driving to the Channel Tunnel from Wiltshire (2 1/2 hours drive) is step one of the journey.  A snooze on the train (1 hour) and then out into France and it feels like one is starting an adventure.  Turn left up to Dunkerque and then right into Belgium and across the plains of Flanders to the small town of Deerjilk (1 1/2 hours).  The Manutti headquarters and showroom are right in the heart of town in a state of the art modern glass and steel warehouse and showroom.

Arriving at 9am for my meeting with the very welcoming Manutti team gives a good few hours to talk business and go through all the exciting new products, fabrics and designs for 2022 and have lunch. As you can see everything is beautifully presented in a calm and relaxed atmosphere where you can consider all the options for your project while you have a coffee and a Belgian chocolate or two.

If you have an interest in making this trip to confirm the beauty of the Manutti range then I will be very happy to join you there. The one thing I can promise you is that however good the furniture looks in the photographs it is so much better and more comfortable when you finally get to sit on it after a long journey.

If Belgium is a step too far then my own showroom has a very good selection of the Manutti range with 3 new pieces ordered for 2022 on the way in March / April to represent the exciting new Sunrise and Zendo Sense collections and the exquisite new Flex sun lounger
